Hamstring Stretches Exercise

To stretch the hamstrings and lower back muscles


This exercise is done without weights.


  1. Place your one foot on a bench for support.
  2. Keeping the other leg straight bend your body forwards and catch hold of your raised leg with your hands as low as possible.
  3. Feel a good stretch in your hamstrings.
  4. Hold this position for at least 10 seconds and then release.
  5. Stretch with your other leg.
