I always exercise and one of my most favorite and enjoying , fun workout is dance aerobics. Dance aerobics is so good for your whole body and also burns a lot of calories.

How to do Dance Aerobics

Aerobic exercise is one of the best ways of keeping healthy. This is because it helps to move oxygen through the body faster, increasing the rate of blood flow through the body that takes in nutrients to all the body parts and also removes wastes from the body for elimination, it helps in the proper functioning of the organs and has also been linked to the moods of individuals.

While there are different kinds of aerobic exercise, it is always better to take one that you enjoy because you are more likely to complete the exercise sessions and meet or exceed your targets if you are interested in the particular type of exercise.
Dance aerobic is one of the aerobic exercises that are gradually gaining in momentum in recent years. One of the reasons it is becoming popular is because it is used as a way to manage stress and meet new people as it has an air of lightness around it. There are different forms of dance aerobics available and you can usually test different ones to see how they go before settling for a few.

Another reason why dance aerobics have become popular is because you really do not need to be registered at a health club or dance class to be able to benefit from it. There are numerous DVDs and interactive programs that you can use to help you keep fit while dancing.

Some advice on how to do dance aerobics

• Find music and moves that you enjoy or are interested in as this will get you moving in no time. There are many different varieties of music and dancing styles to choose from.
• Follow a step by step guide to learn the different moves. There are two ways to do this, you can either learn the moves one by one or then combine them in your own order during your workout sessions or you can just follow the instructions on a dance aerobic class and follow through to the end.
• It might be a good idea to have more than one kind of exercise session in your library if you are dancing from home. In this way you will be able to do something new each time which will prevent you from getting bored.
• Like every other exercise, make sure you start slowly to get your body warmed up before you go to the more intensive dance moves. Also make sure that you finish your session with dancing moves that get progressively slower to cool you down.

No need for tapes!

I just put on some music that makes me want to move - created a huge playlist. Then I put some weights nearby and just do whatever comes to mind. When the music seems to want weights, I do some upper body exercises randomly (I've had training previously). When the music makes me want to squat, lunge or stretch, then I do that. Some music makes me want to jump around. I can do this for over an hour straight, dripping in sweat, late at night even. YAY FINALLY something that works for me! And I get to listen to music I love.
