Triceps Press Bodybuilding Exercise
Purpose - To Build overall muscle mass in the triceps.
This exercise can be done seated or standing with barbell or an E-Z bar or with dumbbells. I have shown the one arm dumbbell variation.
Seated Triceps Press Exercise
- Sit on a bench holding a barbell r dumbbell straight over your head with your back straight.
- Lower the bar/dumbbell down behind your neck in an arc keeping your elbows stationary.
- Now press the bar/dumbbell upwards and get a full triceps extension.
Standing Triceps Press Exercise
This exercise is done exactly like the seated press but in standing position.
Points to Remember
- Exhale while you exert.
- Go as down as possible and locked out at the top to get maximum benefits.
