To Isolate and Build the outer head of deltoids.
 

Execution

This exercise is done with a cable on a floor pulley one arm at a time.


 

Steps

  1. Grab the handle of a low floor pulley with one hand.
     
  2. Now extend your arm outward and upward until it is higher than the shoulders.
     
  3. Through the movement twist your hands so that the thumbs lies at lower level.
     
  4. Repeat with the other side to finish off.


Points to Remember

  • Keep the motion steady & avoid jerky movements
  • Exhale while you exert.
  • Bending slightly forwards additionally works on rear delts.
